Access Control

On-line Door Controllers and Wall Readers

For online and real-time access control demands

Lloyd Worrall offers a wide range of wall readers that, in combination with door controllers, enables the expansion of access control benefits to doors where a stand-alone electronic lock cannot be fitted, such as barriers, lifts, sliding doors or electronic gates, where access control must be online and real-time.

Our range of on-line door controllers have substantial technological advances which can be configured as 2 different doors or one door reader in and reader out locking. The technology also allows management of up to 10 doors from one IP address.

All door controllers enable the integration to building management systems, e.g. for triggering lifts or post boxes.

SALTO’s latest control unit makes it even easier to bring superior access control to your facility, thanks to the ability to control and manage multiple doors through one Ethernet connection and one IP address. The SALTO XS4 2.0 Controller CU4200 is an auxiliary controller that does not require an IP address and can be set up as an auxiliary controller connected to an XS4 online controller (CU42E0), or can work as an offline controller, reducing the costs of installation and keeping all the advantages of the SALTO Data-on-card technology.

Features

  • Online controller if connected through BUS485 to CU42E0.
  • Offline controller if not connected to the network.
  • Two wall reader connections that can be configured as 2 different doors if it is connected to CU42E0, or one door reader in and reader out locking, if set up as offline and programmed via PPD.
  • Antipassback mode available by connecting 2 wall readers and setting up as one door.
  • Door monitoring and tamper monitoring via contacts input (intrusion alarm and door left opened alarm).
  • Access plan update via SALTO Virtual Network capabilities. User access plan and blacklist (list of users card cancelled) is transmitted via the data-on-card technology.

ID Technologies

  • To be used with WRDB and WRMB wall reader range.

Net2 is a networked access control system. A networked system gives the advantages of central control, event reporting and flexible control over users’ access. Each control unit is part of a network but can run independently making its own decisions and remembering events.

The Net2 plus control unit connects to the central administration PC using an RJ45 plug into a standard TCP/IP Ethernet network. This greatly increases the flexibility of installation options on sites that have LAN/WAN networks. The Net2 plus control unit also has a RS485 connection. This means it can be connected to other Net2 plus or Net2 classic control units using a dedicated CAT5 cable.

One Net2 plus control unit can be the network interface to the LAN and also run a wired RS485 daisy chain of other Net2 plus or Net2 classic units, removing the need for an independent TCP/IP to RS485 converter. Net2 plus is also available with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply. PoE is a technology that allows both power and data to be passed along Ethernet cabling. Net2 plus with PoE simply plugs straight into the existing LAN using a standard RJ45 plug (providing it is powered by either a compatible PoE switch or a PoE injector).

Control units are sold as a PCB only, within a plastic housing or mounted within a 2A boxed metal/plastic mains monitored backup power supply. The Net2 plus unit now comes with PoE+ power supply in metal/plastic cabinet; no separate mains supply back-up required.

Features

  • Single door networkable access control unit
  • Plug into a TCP/IP network using a RJ45 plug
  • Features a built in TCP/IP converter
  • Different control units can be mixed on a site
  • FLASH memory allows easy upgrades

Due to the wide range of site requirements, we offer an extensive range of readers and keypads for use with Paxton systems.
