Lloyd Worrall offers a wide range of wall readers that, in combination with door controllers, enables the expansion of access control benefits to doors where a stand-alone electronic lock cannot be fitted, such as barriers, lifts, sliding doors or electronic gates, where access control must be online and real-time.
Our range of on-line door controllers have substantial technological advances which can be configured as 2 different doors or one door reader in and reader out locking. The technology also allows management of up to 10 doors from one IP address.
All door controllers enable the integration to building management systems, e.g. for triggering lifts or post boxes.

SALTO’s XS4 2.0 control unit makes it even easier to bring superior access control to your facility, thanks to the ability to control and manage multiple doors through one Ethernet connection and one IP address. This means that extending SALTO access control benefits to all those doors where a stand-alone electronic escutcheon cannot be fitted (electric strikes, magnets, barriers, elevators, etc.) is even easier and more cost-effective.
SALTO’s latest control unit makes it even easier to bring superior access control to your facility, thanks to the ability to control and manage multiple doors through one Ethernet connection and one IP address. The SALTO XS4 2.0 Controller CU4200 is an auxiliary controller that does not require an IP address and can be set up as an auxiliary controller connected to an XS4 online controller (CU42E0), or can work as an offline controller, reducing the costs of installation and keeping all the advantages of the SALTO Data-on-card technology.
SALTO peripheral products provide the ideal solution for those access points where online connectivity is needed, or where interaction with other systems or electric powered devices such as elevators, roller shutter doors or barriers is required.
Net2 is a networked access control system. A networked system gives the advantages of central control, event reporting and flexible control over users’ access. Each control unit is part of a network but can run independently making its own decisions and remembering events.
The Net2 plus control unit connects to the central administration PC using an RJ45 plug into a standard TCP/IP Ethernet network. This greatly increases the flexibility of installation options on sites that have LAN/WAN networks. The Net2 plus control unit also has a RS485 connection. This means it can be connected to other Net2 plus or Net2 classic control units using a dedicated CAT5 cable.
One Net2 plus control unit can be the network interface to the LAN and also run a wired RS485 daisy chain of other Net2 plus or Net2 classic units, removing the need for an independent TCP/IP to RS485 converter. Net2 plus is also available with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply. PoE is a technology that allows both power and data to be passed along Ethernet cabling. Net2 plus with PoE simply plugs straight into the existing LAN using a standard RJ45 plug (providing it is powered by either a compatible PoE switch or a PoE injector).
Control units are sold as a PCB only, within a plastic housing or mounted within a 2A boxed metal/plastic mains monitored backup power supply. The Net2 plus unit now comes with PoE+ power supply in metal/plastic cabinet; no separate mains supply back-up required.
Due to the wide range of site requirements, we offer an extensive range of readers and keypads for use with Paxton systems.
Most of the readers are treated to ensure the electronic components are completely sealed making them 100% resistant to water. All Paxton readers are designed to operate normally in a wide range of temperature and are made and finished with materials which are UV stable.
Proximity compact is a single door access control system. All the electronics are within the housing of the reader. Compact systems can be installed to many doors over a site, all using the same cards.
The P series readers are supplied with a choice of black or white fascias that can be fitted in the final stages of installation.
TOUCHLOCK compact is a single door access control system. All the electronics are within the housing of the keypad. Compact systems can be installed to many doors over a site. The K series keypads are supplied with a choice of black or white bezels that can be fitted in the final stages of installation.
The desktop reader is designed to sit next to the PC. It is used for adding tokens to a Net2 system. It can also be used for identifying lost tokens. There is proximity, magstripe, USB and keyboard output versions available. The proximity version also reads MIFARE® tokens.
Carriers are available as RFID cards, key fobs and bracelets to suit the user’s individual needs. Contactless and easy to use, you just present the carrier to the reader. They are battery free, waterproof, copy proof and suitable for multi-applications with other systems like cashless payment and Time and Attendance terminals. They work alongside MiFare technology.
Reusable, contactless RFID smart cards for access control. It provides higher levels of security than traditional mechanical key management and additional applications can be implemented on the same ID user credential.
RFID key fobs are a cost-effective, secure and convenient solution for commercial and industrial applications with a durable housing for rugged use or harsh environments. Attractively designed, contactless key fobs are available in various colours.
Contactless RFID key bracelets are a cost-effective, secure, easy to wear and convenient solution for commercial and industrial applications with a durable housing for rugged use or harsh environments. Attractively designed, contactless key fobs are available in various colours.
